Spec. Health Testing

We offer a variety of hormonal testing in office. Most patients I see have already seen 3 or more doctors for their complaints, and have been told they are normal. But as woman, we know our bodies, and we know when we are normal feeling. The test I offer is different than the blood test. It is a saliva test that measures your hormone levels over a 30 day span. This type of testing is done all over the country by many different specialist.

One common condition, woman suffer from is Estrogen Dominance. If you would like to know if you may have a hormonal imbalance it’s best to come in for a consult. Every person is different and has different needs.

Dr. Henrichs also offers a variety of literature that patients can purchase on hormonal imbalance, weight loss, and menopause.

If you want to get a head start, please read “What your doctor may not tell you about breast cancer”, written by Dr. John Lee, M.D. In his book, he not only talks about breast cancer, but about estrogen dominance, and saliva testing.

Allergies

Having an allergy can be either an obvious symptom such as watery eyes, hives, rashes, sneezing, etc. But what if you have an allergic reaction to something and you don’t even know you are. That happens to many people every day. Why does that happen?

Well it’s simple, when you eat or breathe an allergen, you have one or two reactions that will occur. One reaction is a delayed reaction, and one is an immediate reaction, also known as an anaphylactic reaction.

The body produces two antibodies, IgG and IgE. Most allergy specialist only tests for IgE allergies because the test is cheaper and sometimes paid for by insurance companies. IgE is a response that is mostly immediate. In other words, you may enter into a room that has cats, and you start sneezing. Or, you get stung by a bee, and have to be rushed to the hospital because you airways are swelling. But, IgG reaction is very subtle. You will not realize it, or even know it. Below are some examples of a delayed food allergy.

- Constant clearing of the throat
- Repeated Upper respiratory infections
- Chronic sinus conestion
- Ear infections especially in children
- Skin conditions such as psorias, or eczema
- Joint or muscle pain
- Chronic health conditions
- Digestive problems such as constipation, gas and bloating.

Primary care doctors in office frequently see lots of these conditions. However, the causes of the conditions can be from many different health diseases. If you are not having luck with finding a reason why you cannot recover from the above conditions you will want to consider the allergy testing, and a nutritional deficiency test.

If you would like a consult with Dr. Henrichs, regarding the test, please call to schedule an appointment today. Consults are affordable and will go towards your initial visit cost.
